PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In recognition of hip-hop turning 50, my Graphic and Digital Design course took what normally would be a poster design project for a poetry symposium adapted it to highlight a rapper that has made an impact on the hip-hop world. I chose LL Cool J as my rapper and started doing research on his life and work. After a few different iterations, we decided to fully develop the piece pictured using lyrics from LL's Ah, Let's Get Ill and the album cover for his 1996 album, all world.
