Inspired by Deborah Roberts' collage work and motivated by the senseless loss of Black and brown lives across the United States. Repeating type forms the ground, with composited portraits layered over it — a construction meant to make the message unavoidable rather than decorative. The piece speaks for itself, communicating something that shouldn't have to be said.
